We recommend creating portraits as young as 3 weeks, then at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. Babies are great fun to work with and pose. A good baby portrait experience can set the tone for good photographs of the child as they take their toddler pictures, child portraits and eventually family portraits and their – heaven forbid it’s too early to say – senior pictures!

Start thinking about the baby portraits: Six months is a great time for your baby’s first family portrait. At this age, he can sit up, is not frightened by anything, and will laugh with you when placed in a family grouping for a portrait session.
